My wife and I have been to many places arround the world and had BBQ from different cultures but this place has done it right! Good old-fashioned American style BBQ! From smoked pork ribs to beef brisket, you cant go wrong. Got to try the 'not just for kids" hand made Mac & cheese. You might meet the owner Ron, he is Hands-On everyday barbecuing meat in the winter snow and beautiful summer months year-round in Big Bear! If you come to try his barbecue, be sure to get there before 2 p.m. as he may run out of food. Also bring him a cold beer, he deserves it!

Like the man said "The best Barbecue!" Definitely not to miss of you're down by Big Bear. Had ribs, brisket and their sausages. All to die for. And go at 12. They close when they sell out, and that can be as early as 2.30.

The ribs and pulled pork are excellent and Ron the owner is a great guy and very nice. We will be back for sure best place I've ever eaten at in big bear,get there early though when they sell out they close for the night. Good thing theres always tomorrow. LOL

I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a sensational evening and the place was clearly the reason for this outstanding gathering. The waiters cooperated in a sweet way, the meals were appetizing and my friends were very thrilled. We shall surely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

OMG, brisket. Do you need more???? Get it if you can, they sell out quick!! I don't even want sides. I love sides but the meat is so damn good I just can't!!!OMG brisket.....did I say that? Just try to get some and tell me I'm wrong. ❤

Spoke to Ron. He admitted fault and promised a refund. He now is calling me a flake and he is the one who ripped me off!! Don’t trust him. He will rip you off and the. Call you flake. I say enjoy my 300 bucks. I don’t need it.

Great smokey BBQ. They sell out fast, best to call in an order the day before.

One of the best bbq places I've ever been too. The only thing missing was bbq sauce. I wish my meat was drenched in their sauce. Besides that get their early there is a line but worth the wait.

Everything is so good. Taste like home cooked BBQ. They give you a lot of meat. Come early because once they run out they close.

Great BBQ. Best I have found in SCal after moving here from Texas.

My boys and I rode our bikes there after smelling the delicious aromas of smoked wood. We were greeted by the 2 chefs and we tried there smoked brisket, BBQ ribs and famous mac & cheese. The food was delicious, hot, soft meat that just melted in your mouth. Omg it was good, I'll be sure to grab me a plate each time I'm in big bear.A++ food, thanks guys for the hook up

Stop by on our visit to big bear, and husband asked to check this out, so we did and yummmmy. Great service by the girl taking the order, super nice and friendly and the food was amazing.. I am a vegetarian, but not my husband and kids, so I order the Mac and cheese and it was delicious, husband order the pullpork and he loved it. We will be going there soon.

My daughter and I were sitting in our cabin craving pulled pork. We got onto Google Maps and typed in “pulled pork”. This place came up and boy are we happy it did! They were just getting ready to close, but stayed open to get us lunch. The pulled pork sandwich was AMAZING! We ordered the Mac & Cheese as our side and I can’t believe how delicious it was. You can for sure tell it was home made. We don’t get up to Big Bear often, but next time we do, we will for sure come here!

AMAZING barbecue!! They were so generous with everything and it's one of the best barbecue I've ever tasted! Highly recommended. They don't have a specific closing time. They close when the food runs out for the day. We were the last customers of the day but they were kind enough to still serve us even though it looked like they were closing down.

The food in this place is awesome! My favorite bbq place in the mountain and a obligated stop for tourists... staff is friendly and service is super fast, prices are great for the quality you get, check their business hours before you go... my only suggestion is to add a couple more tables with shade

Best bq place up in big bear!!!

Ordered ribs, brisket, mac n cheese, potato salad and corn bread. Meats were delicious with the bbq sauce, some pieces were a bit tough. The sides were a bit small but very tasty.Corn bread was moist and just right.The girl who took order and the owner cook were very nice.

Smelled great every time we drove by but closed 30 min early when we had a chance to go.

Make sure to get there early... It's so good they run out of food by 1:00 sometimes.

Excellent ribs and brisket. Small, inconspicuous place but these are the ones you’re looking for. We definitely recommend. Hope to be back soon!

Hands down some of the best bbq my husband and myself have found in California. We’re from the south and miss southern food something awful and we happened to stop by and grab lunch here and we weren’t disappointed! The pulled pork and Mac n cheese were AMAZING! The service was fantastic and so humble! We will definitely be making trips to big bear more often to get this bbq! So if you’re looking for some good southern food on your time in big bear I highly suggest stopping by!

November 18, 2016 after three times I tried to eat here it was finally still open and they didn't run out of food I got there maybe about 1:30 PM today perfect timing I was the only one there I ordered the two meat combo pork ribs and brisket, the brisket Beyond tender and delicious, the pork ribs plentiful and yummy, the only thing is I did not like the side of coleslaw, it was like right out of a store bought package yuck, just a suggestion add a bit of mayo and some crushed pineapple, I can't wait to go back and get the pork Sammie, thanks for letting me taste this

Service, food, & quality are all 5 stars. The service was very fast and friendly. I love the staff and the owners. The food is delicious I had my face filled with bbq sauce. The owner also brought us an extra side order for free for my family. We had a conversation with the owner and his partner. We gave them a gift for being very nice and caring to us. It was a bread from La Brea Bakery. I hope you remember us. Thank you for everything. We will see you soon.

The ribs were so tuff and fatty I couldn't eat them. I immediately got my money back and won't be returning. Very disappointing! This was about 2.5 years ago, I edited this 1 month ago. Your ribs were absolutely terrible, humble yourself!! Anyone with any sort of business sense would at the very least apologize for the bad experience, but you must be above that, right? I stand by my review, which was ORIGINALLY posted approximately 2.5 years ago.
